YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy.

How MSI handles your information when you explore products, prepare an enquiry and contact our team.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Who we are

This policy explains how the Mine Supply International website handles your information. The business is Mine Supply International Pty Ltd (ABN 14 666 964 861), based in Queensland, Australia. For privacy questions, email kent@minesupplyint.com.

Preparing and sending an enquiry

The enquiry builder lets you enter your name, work email, company, phone number, site or location, project timing and application details. These details are held in your browser's memory while you use the website. They are cleared when you reload or close the page; they are not saved to the website's database or submitted by the preview button.

You can review the enquiry, copy it to your clipboard or download a text file. The email option opens a draft in your own email application. You decide whether to send it. Your email provider handles the draft and sent message under its own privacy practices. MSI receives the details only when you send an email or contact us directly.

When you contact MSI, the information you provide is used to respond, discuss your application and arrange the next steps you request. Share the information needed for the enquiry and avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential material you are not authorised to disclose.

Your product shortlist

The website saves selected product identifiers in your browser's local storage under msi-shortlist. This allows your shortlist to remain available on the same browser and device. Your contact details and application description are not stored with it. Browser settings can prevent this storage from working.

Remove products from the quote page to update the shortlist, or clear this website's stored data in your browser settings. A shared shortlist link contains product identifiers only. Anyone with the link can see those product selections.

Copies on your device

Copied enquiries are placed on your clipboard. Downloaded enquiries create a text file on your device containing the details you entered. Copies, email drafts and sent emails may remain after the website is closed. Manage or delete them using your device and email application.

Website requests and external services

Serving a website involves processing connection information such as your IP address, requested page and browser information. The hosting provider may handle routine access or security records as part of providing that service. This website does not install advertising pixels or site analytics scripts, and it does not set cookies for product selections; the shortlist uses local storage instead.

Product documents and other external links may take you to MSI's document library, manufacturer websites or another provider. Phone and email links open the relevant application on your device. Those services receive the information needed to handle your request and apply their own privacy practices.

The global footprint map

The homepage's interactive map uses Mapbox. It loads automatically when the map section approaches the visible part of your screen and requests map software, styles, tiles and data from Mapbox and its delivery services. Those requests may disclose your IP address, browser information and related network or usage information to those providers. Their handling of this information is described in the Mapbox privacy policies. The map does not request your device's location.

Information received by MSI

Email enquiries and direct communications are handled outside the website through MSI's business communication services. Relevant application details may need to be discussed with the manufacturer or supply partner to answer your enquiry. If your information needs special handling, discuss that with MSI before sending it. Providers and international supply partners may operate outside Australia.

A browser refresh clears the enquiry builder, but it does not delete messages already sent to MSI. Contact us if you want to ask what information is held, request a correction or request deletion. Records that are needed for an ongoing enquiry, transaction or legal obligation may need to be retained; MSI can explain this in response to your request.

Questions, access and complaints

Email kent@minesupplyint.com or call +61 488 780 243 with privacy questions, a request to access or correct your information, or a complaint. Include enough information to identify the relevant communication. MSI may need to confirm your identity before releasing personal information.

If a concern remains unresolved, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains which privacy complaints it can consider and how to lodge one.

Policy updates

This policy will be updated when the website's information handling changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. See our terms of use for information about using the website and its product content.
